Hi, I’m Devon.

I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana and love Seattle but find myself missing Big Sky Country all of the time. I’ve lived in Seattle for 15 years, having moved out here to attend The Art Institute of Seattle. I graduated in 2001 with a degree in Multimedia and Web Design, however it was my elective classes in photography that caught my attention and morphed into a passion I still have 13 years later.

I met the love of my life in 2001 and we were married in 2009. We have 2 beautiful children, Callie and Chance. They are my inspiration and the reason I do what I do.

I’ve worked in the graphics industry now for 14 years and have honed my eye for detail and perfection. However, the birth of my daughter is what inspired me to pursue my passion and hopefully turn it into something more.

When Callie was born, I realized the importance of capturing all the small moments of her life. I wanted to remember how tiny she was as a newborn: her tiny fingers and toes, how her face changed on what seemed like a daily basis, the way she pursed her lips to make a kissy face, the way she lowered that bottom lip when she was about to cry and the way she fully stretched out when first being unswaddled. I wanted to capture the daily activities and all of the milestones. The playing with legos, sliding at the park and snuggling with daddy. It quickly became apparent that my joy of taking photographs was something more than just a hobby.

I find tremendous joy in meeting and photographing families. To be able to freeze a moment in time for them is my passion. I love that I give clients something that they will treasure for a lifetime and pass down from generation to generation. I’m a Seattle-based photographer, specializing in maternity, newborn, senior, portrait, birth stories, parties or events, wedding and family photography.

My photography style is artistic, clean, fresh, colorful, pure and timeless. I love capturing special moments and making a memory last!
